I had a blog with this same name for several years – then decided it was time to try my hand at Etsy. After a few months of being one tiny little drop (albeit a nice one) in the big ocean of Etsy, I decided to look around for a better option to both sell and connect. After trying a few, I’ve decided that redeveloping my blog/shop would give me the flexibility I need.
The “issue” that all sellers have with blog space is that it is really hard to entice people to your site. You don’t show up in search for quite a long time, and there is no massive international development team working on algorithms in the background to pop your work up in the eyes of potential buyers. So….there’s that!
The other “issue” is that when things go wrong, all the problems land right at my door – and golly molly I just want to drink coffee and create lovely things!
Nonetheless, no one cares about our little “businesses” more than we do – right?. So – here I am (again) and welcome one and all!
I have a lot of work to do to get my shop organized and filled up. I’m also in the process or working on creating enough watercolor/acrylic work to try my hand at some bigger/better shows this coming year. And – I would sure like to offer some home classes centered around some of the fun things I’ve been learning for the past couple of years. Along with that, I would like to create some on-line tutorials here in this little space. Little things that are quick and easy and items are likely right there in your home. So busy times ahead!
Have a wonderful day – and give yourself the gift of creativity in any way that you can!
