Right now I’m fighting a horrible cold which has slowed down my work – but I am getting ready to make some changes to my shop and my overall projects. I’ve changed a few prices on things in my shop, and hope you will check them out. Lots more items are coming soon.

I’m taking a very tentative step toward creating some YouTube videos. I have to say, though, that I have this truly incredible “knack” of starting involvement in all sorts of things JUST as they are beginning to fade. A “talent” I’m not quite sure how to “monetize”. I’m pretty sure that it was my personal foray into stenciling geese with stupid bonnets that led to the total demise of the colors “Country Blue” and “Country Pink” back in the 70s!! LOL! So, fair warning. If YOU have a YouTube channel, be very afraid. Once I start, the darn platform will likely be totally taken over by some other amazing opportunity.

I’ve fallen completely in love with making books. I have no idea where that is going to take me – but it has overshadowed my interest in making other things. By “books” – I mean anything with multiple pages and primarily made of paper. It can be folios, junk journal ephemera, actual bound books (of all sizes), pamphlets, the list and discovery is endless. I am still painting as I find so many ways to include that in the books and related projects.

I’m excited about where this is taking me. I’m enjoying getting to know people in the world of bookmaking. I feel like an “experienced novice” – and I’m sure they know what I mean. Most of us have arrived with a whole huge background in other art mediums to happily find that they all work in this new journey!
